Dr. Delessa Bulcha Neger is Senior Advisor for Partnerships and Resource Mobilization at CAFOR. An experienced economist, university professor, and researcher with over 15 years in teaching economics and management, he has held university presidency roles in Ethiopia and advised the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Education.
Based in Toronto, Canada, he strengthens academic collaborations, resource mobilisation, and international partnerships that expand CAFOR's global reach. He supports strategic engagement with universities, development banks, and diaspora networks aligned with Agenda 2063.
Dr. Delessa brings analytical rigour and diplomatic experience to CAFOR's fundraising, grant development, and multi-stakeholder convenings across Africa and the global North.
